Earthquake Devastates Central Myanmar
March 28, 2025
More than 1600 men, women and children are confirmed dead, thousands injured, and dozens still missing after a 7.7 magnitude earthquake rocked central Myanmar on Friday, March 28.

Jesus Foot Soldiers(JFS) in the area are active in rescue efforts and giving aid to earthquake victims.

AFO's director reports:
It is heartbreaking that entire families, babies, mothers, fathers, and grandparents, were trapped and lost their lives as buildings collapsed during the earthquake. This is a great tragedy. Many are still missing.
Local rescue teams have been digging for hours to reach those trapped under the rubble, but it remains a difficult and challenging task. Please pray for the people affected. Many are injured and in need of food, water, and essential supplies. JFS are very much involved in saving lives.
